Work / The Royal Mint / Una & The Lion
We captured the process of bringing the infamous Una & The Lion design back into the light.
The coin, designed by Wyon in 1839, is recognised as one of the most beautiful British coins ever struck.
Shot entirely on RED, we too used the latest technology to document the process from start to finish and tell the story of the coin, its designer, history and minting.

The way Mr Goldsmith holds up traditions in his workshop provided us with such a beautiful contrast.
5kg of the most emphatic gold in surroundings of such distress. Dust, cobwebs, old tools, shavings, rags, we didn't want to touch anything.
Just by pumping a bit of haze and keeping lighting directional was all that was needed to achieve an amazing atmosphere.
