The current creative climate is awash with opportunity and options.
Despite this, it can be hard to collect oneself and focus on meaningful endeavours when faced with extensive responsibilities.
Inspiration may seem to surround you, yet remain somehow out of reach.
However, we all possess innate imaginations, and this film explores how a simple signifier can open a pathway to tap into it, imagining something not yet created, which may inspire others to unlock their own pathways to innovate or create.
We chose to stage this piece within the landscape of artistry, a community that prides itself on creativity for good, confronting global issues and social constructs.
As filmmakers, we are inspired by the diversity of art produced across disciplines. It was touching to collaborate with such a variety of artists who contributed to this film.
The iteration of create/innovate/challenge was a key theme throughout, and we aimed to explore new tools and techniques that complement this overarching idea.
Seemingly infinite zoom and AI generative fill acted as highly useful assets in telling our story.
